OBJECTIVES

 

The engineers graduated from the Space Engineering program have:

  • Strong fundamental knowledge of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.
  • Specialized knowledge of satellite technology and applications such as space communications, earth observations, geographic information system and global positioning systems.
  • Specialized knowledge of satellite signal and image processing, programming for iOS and big data analysis.
  • Technical knowledge of electronic devices, satellite design and antenna fabrication.
  • Startup spirit and important skills to work in an international environment.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

 

After graduation, engineers can find jobs in the following sectors:

  • National organizations that use space technology and satellite applications such as national space centers, departments of remote sensing, urban planning, traffic management and environmental management.
  • Companies of transportation, aviation and services that use commercial applications of global navigation satellite systems.

OVERSEA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM


Students of Space Engineering program at International University will have opportunities for a 1-1.5 months internship in their 3rd year at Institute of Space and Astronautical Science - Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (ISAS/JAXA, Japan), Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI, Korea), and Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ASIAA,Taiwan). Those who show their academic excellency shall have chances to be sent to multiple internships through out their academic years. Moreover, students can choose to participate in a 1-6 months internship (self-support) in order to gain knowledge in science and modern technology and to improve their designing skills at ISAS/JAXA. These programs will provide students unique experience working in one of the most modern laboratory.

All fees will be covered 100%.

During academic year 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, Department of Physics has successfully sent 05 best students to go for internships at ASIAA (03 from academic year 2016-2017 and 02 from academic year 2017-2018). All students are sponsored accommodation (self-support air fairs).

In academic year 2018-2019, 01 student is sponsored full internship at ISAS/JAXA, Japan (including air fairs, accommodation and local transportation).
