Observations with Hubble Space Telescope

Our research group has been awarded General Observer time in Cycle 21 of Hubble Space Telescope, for the project "Taking the Temperature of Explosive Stellar Flares", PI: Adam Kowalski (NASA Goddard Space Flight Center) and co-I: Ngoc Phan-Bao (HCM International University).
Cycle 21 will have a duration of approximately one year, beginning October 01, 2013 and ending on September 30, 2014. in Cycle 21, 822 GO proposals requested almost 20,000 orbits, compared to the 2800 orbits available. A total of 55 snapshot proposals requested over 6200 targets, compared to the approximately 800 targets approved and a total of 217 Archival Research, Archive Legacy, and Theory proposals requested approximately 19 million dollars, about five times the amount available for these categories.
