OBJECTIVES

After graduation, students will have the following knowledge, skills and competencies:

  • Strong fundamental scientific knowledge of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics to meet the requirements of the Space Engineering field and pursuit higher education levels.
  • Technical basic knowledge of electronics, space environment and space communications, Earth observation, signal processing and digital image processing; the ability to apply specialized technical knowledge in the field of signal processing and signal analysis, satellite imagery, remote sensing, geographic information system and space analysis, and satellite positioning technology.
  • Strong personal skills, career, communication and team work suitable for interdisciplinary, multi-cultural and multi-national working environment.
  • Good understanding of the economics, politics; have basic knowledge in field of social sciences and humanities from the program in order to effectively contribute and sustain strong development of the society and community.

 

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

 

After graduation, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Work in state agencies, use and manage satellite data to monitor forest resources, land, territory.
  • Work in business organizations that use satellite data for related applications.
  • Work and research in major national institutes and centers such as: Vietnam National Satellite Center (VNSC), Space Technology Institute (STI), the Bureaus, Remote Sensing Centers.
  • Become lecturers or experts in the field of Space Engineering.
  • Have career in professions related to science and technology such as information technology, electronics, and telecommunication.

 

OVERSEA INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY


About 10% of the outstanding students will have the opportunity for an internship of 1-3 months in the 3rd year of the program, funded by partners of the International University, to Korea, Japan.
