The Department of Mathematics is responsible for teaching and arranging for visiting lecturers for all mathematics-related modules in the curriculum of all the schools of   the International University. The students are supplied with the basic knowledge of each subject and examples showing the applications of the knowledge to their specialities.

Several research projects have been carried out and seminar groups are working regularly at the department. The department is also responsible for the Master and Ph.D. programs on the subject of Mathematical Optimization (at the University of Natural Sciences, member institution of VNU-HCM).
