According to the official correspondence No. 1147/ĐHQG – QHQT, International Relations and R&D Management Office has an honor to inform that the Summit Conference of Youths from Southeast Asian Universities 2008 will be held by the network of Asian Universities and the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The content will be presented following:

I. Purpose:

Theme of the Conference: “The Role of Youths in promoting the ASEAN Community 2015”

This conference is a chance for the participants to share their points of view and realization about the role of Youths in developing community. From that point, the conference will discuss and give the concrete operational plan to improve the role of Youths in promoting ASEAN Community 2015.

II. Time – Place – Cost:

The Conference will be held from 14^th to 17^th September 2008 at Bangkok, Thailand.

All the costs for flights, food and transportation will be paid during the time of conference by the host country, Thailand.

III.Quantity:

The International University (IU), Nation University – HCMC is allowed to nominate 1 typical student who is considered to join the conference by Nation University.

In order to choose one student as the participant, International Relations and R&D Management Office respectfully inform to students who have the desire to take part in the Conference to send these documents to the organizers:

• An English Essay in approximately 1500 words about “the Role of Youths in promoting the ASEAN community 2015”. Students will make a presentation about this essay at the conference in 5 to 10 minutes.
• The Registered form and flight details are pasted on the notice boards at all schools.

Deadline of submitting: August 1^st 2008.

Ways of selecting: the most excellent essay will be chosen from all and sent to Nation University before August 5^th 2008.
