fair International University (IU) 2008 was held in Wednesday,
June 11th 2008 from 8:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. with the ebullient
participant of nearly 400 students who are in the last 2 years
at IU and the neighbor Universities, especially the students of
Faculty of Economics and Law – Vietnam National University-Ho
Chi Minh City.
With the considerate preparation and whole-hearted of
organizers, this event has attracted many HCMC media units
such as HTV, BTV… and some newspapers like Thanh Nien, Tuoi
Tre, Vietnam Times, Nguoi Lao Dong, Sinh vien Viet Nam, Tien
Phong, etc. coming to collect news. All the banderoles,
flags and posters were hung at most of the favorable places
like bus stops, IU campus and the neighbor Universities in
order to deliver swiftly the information to students.
The morning program took place in an eventful atmosphere which
satisfied organizer’s expectation as well as companies and
firms. The level of success and the effect of this special
meaningful event could be evaluated just by looking at the
enthusiasm working manner of the employers and the serious
attitude of students toward this occasion.
With the attendance of the companies which really have great
prestige in the country as well as in the area like Techcom
bank, SG Viet Finance, 3A, Scavi, SDS, Renesas, JobViet, SHTP,
this fair has given chances in order to assure an oriented
future for students after graduating. Especially, many part-time
jobs have been introduced students by these companies.
In addition to visiting the stalls, students also collect much
useful knowledge from seminars taking place at the hall with
many details about developing strategies and human resources
needs in big companies as well as the information and working
skills in integrating environment after graduating.
The fair ended at 3:00p.m. and left good impression for
companies and firms. On behalf of the Rectorate board, we
organizers would like to send our thankfulness to companies,
firms and units participating and contributing to the success of
this fair and we expect to maintain this unshakeable connection
in the future. |
