The seminar about the Cooperative Training Program between the
International University – Vietnam National University and Rutgers
University, USA and others.
On Saturday,
August 28th 2008, the International University
(IU) organized a seminar about the twinning programs with
Rutgers, USA and other famous international universities.
The seminar is executed by Prof. Ho Thanh Phong, the Rector,
Mr. Tran Tien Khoa, the Vice Rector and all the Deans of
schools at IU.
At the
beginning, Prof. Ho Thanh Phong introduced the education
program of IU to the audiences, including the programs in
which the degree is awarded by IU or by overseas
universities. Then the parents had chances to express their
questions or necessary information. All of the questions
were essentially about the English level of freshmen and
chances of job after graduating. The Rector and Deans of
schools introduced in detail the language program of IU as
well as the future orientation and job opportunities which
helped the parents feel more secure on sending their
children to IU.
The
following presentation was about the twinning programs with
international universities which were presented by Dr.
Nguyen Quynh Mai, Act. Manager of the office of
International Relations and Scientific Management. The
presentation gave the parents more information about the
majors and the material facilities at partner universities
as well as the necessary procedure to enroll for their
children on following these programs.
Because of
the limited time, the seminar ended successfully on the same
day at 11:30a.m. and all the remained questions from parents
would be answered through email.
