Mathematical Seminar – Prof. Ngo Bao Chau (August 20th, 2008)

International Relations and Scientific Management has the honor to inform to students of International University about the seminar:
            “Some issues in modern arithmetic”
In this seminar, Prof. Ngo Bao Chau, the first one who was exceptionally given the title Professor in the age of 33, will share his experience in studying and researching with students. Professor will also help students to answer all questions about modern arithmetic. We are looking forward to your participation.

Some of his achievements:

-         2 gold medals in 29th and 30th International Mathematical Olympiad when  studying grade 11 and 12 at Vietnam National University High school. (1988 - 1989).    

-         After his high school graduation, the French government offered him a scholarship to the École Normale Supérieure. Then, he received his Ph.D. at the Université de Paris-Sud, Orsay.

-         2004, invited to be the professor in 2 universities in Paris (Paris VI and Paris XI) (France).

-         2005, exceptionally recognized as the youngest professor in Vietnam without passing the title of Associate Professor in the age of 33.
